SWR | Stuttgart International Song Art Competition – The Winners

The Stuttgart International Song Art Competition is one of the oldest and most traditional competitions of its kind in German-speaking countries. Since 1987 it has produced numerous young artists who shape the concert life of today. The Russian bass-baritone Mikhail Timoshenko and his Bulgarian accompanist Elitsa Desseva won first prize in the song competition of the Hugo Wolf Academy. The award is endowed with 15,000 euros.
